Overview

ConneX Electrical was proud to deliver the full electrical package for Dyer Terrace, a development of 10 modern townhouses in Northwich, Cheshire. As the fourth successful collaboration with a valued repeat client, this project reflects our growing reputation for quality, reliability, and consistency across residential new-build developments.

Project Objectives

• Provide complete electrical services for all 10 units, from design to final commissioning.
• Ensure all installations met or exceeded current Part P and BS7671 wiring regulations.
• Support the main contractor’s build schedule with timely, coordinated delivery across all phases.
• Maintain a clean, consistent finish in keeping with the developer’s modern design standards.

Our Scope of Work

ConneX Electrical delivered the entire electrical infrastructure for each of the 10 new homes, which included:

• Electrical Design Review & Coordination with architectural and M&E plans.
• First Fix Installations: Cabling for power, lighting, smoke detection, TV/data, and EV points.
• Second Fix Installations: Consumer units, sockets, switches, LED lighting, extractor fans, and external lighting.
• Testing & Commissioning: Full NICEIC-certified inspection, testing, and handover documentation.
• EV Charger Readiness: Future-proofed provisions for electric vehicle charging, in line with building regs.

Challenges & Solutions

• Phased Handover: Properties were built and handed over in stages, requiring detailed scheduling and close communication with site management. Our team adjusted workflows and labour allocation to match changing site conditions.
• Repeat Layouts, Unique Finishes: While house layouts were similar, individual spec changes required a sharp eye for variation. Our electricians ensured all customer-specific requirements were delivered without compromise.
