The Dental House – Full Electrical Package for largest dental practice in the UK outside of London

Background

The dental house is the largest dental practice outside of London, with including 13 surgeries which offer NHS and private dental care across Liverpool.

The project

Within an existing building ConneX Electrical were tasked with the full electrical package across 7 surgeries, reception areas and consultation rooms. We delivered all aspects of the electrical installation including a full fire alarm, CCTV system, emergency lighting and power distribution & small power electrical installation. The facility includes 13 bespoke surgeries across 3 buildings over 3 floors. 5 offices, including call centres and consultation rooms.

Delivery

The initial stage of the project we partitioned two sections of the property, allowing the remainder of the practice to operate seamlessly while ensuring both public and occupational safety. This meticulous planning ensured uninterrupted service delivery while facilitating the renovation. The installation included a full fire alarm system across the surgeries and upgrading existing fire alarms, and integrating this into one manageable system, we designed and installed a full CCTV system covering both internal and external of the property. The electrical package was equally meticulous. We engineered a robust power distribution & submains tailored specifically to support the intricate needs of each surgery, complete with dedicated feeds for essential equipment such as x-rays and specialist dental equipment. recognising the evolving technological landscape, we ensured the incorporation of data sockets in every room, facilitating seamless connectivity for computers and televisions, thereby optimising operational efficiency.

In parallel, we worked alongside a specialist interior designer to produce a lighting design. Our bespoke lighting design, focusing heavily on the attention to the aesthetic of the project & provide sophistication and functionality, to the practice. While maintaining the requisite bright lighting essential for dental procedures, our design approach and attention to detail within the space helped create a high-end ambiance, elevating the overall patient experience.
